Au keys look cool ahah any way I can just get a au key get it cut and it will work in my ef?

Yep no worries at all...

The smartlock is part of the barrel... Doesn't give the slightest care to the key... Will go in and work no worries...

You can't go the other way... An EA-AUI key wont start an AUII onward as the smartshield requires a transponder in the key...
