Tell me what the problem is?

It's inside the body module... rest of the system works without a relay, it's only there for the parking which is done by the body module...

Cheers,
Tim

Hi,its the wifes wagon,it started with a problem with the rear wiper and then front wipers would come on automatically when starting the car and stop by themselves,I disconnected the rear wiper to see if that had any affect and then tested switch and wiper motor with spares i have and not them either, thats why i thought it may be the relay,i am not sure where to go from here-hence the ?,any help would be great.

Only one of two things...

Either replace the combo switch as it would trigger them to come on...

Or replace the body module as it could trigger them on as it runs the entire intermittent setting...

Failing that the park contacts in the wiper motor itself could be earthing out and causing the motor to run back to park...

Here's a rough diagram I made up...

The question marked wires ran to the body module...

just a get a test light and go over all fuses... Soon tell if any are blown... The steel contacts can be touched without needing to be unplugged... with the key on nearly all fuses should have power to both sides (not blown)...

Sounding like a combo switch maybe?

Not the wiper motor itself? They can burn out...

Cheers,
Tim

Na mate... It's colored plastic thing situated above the hand brake... You look up from the driver floor and you should see it... Not the red module... That's Smartlock... It'll be black or blue or green... One plug in the end of it... Will a screw or two holding it up...

Cheers,
Tim
