Hi guys, apologies if this is the wrong section, couldn't really see where else to post it..

Anyway, these door locks on my EL....I've taken the lock out of the drivers door, got it working properly, it locks fine - but wont unlock from the key. It seems to work the mechanism fine but it doesnt unlock - pulling the inside door handle will unlock it, using the remote ( which is really sporadic) will unlock it. So the issue must ne in the actual lock itself - anyone got any ideas at all? Its doing my head in..

I think you will find the lock is broken, if that turns out to be the case let me know I think I might have one somewhere.

The correct lock will have 'FR' on it.

You can carefully prise the plastic cover off - I've seen a few where the plastic selector breaks/cracks, and doesn't allow for full travel lock/unlock.

If you are testing it with the door open - remember to latch the sticker to simulate door closed - the lock unlock actuator arm won't go full travel otherwise.

As tony said, just easier to replace it.
