First thing is to try replacing the battery in the remote.

Is there a specific way to program it? i followed the ba-bf guide to reprogramming the remote but it still doesn't work!! has anyone else had this issue? Could it be the remote sensor in the car or the remote itself?

If it is the remote or the sensor would that be a warranty replacement maybe?

Any help would be great as im tearing my hair out!!

I have changed the battery in my remote a few times. It did not affect the operation at all.
Other than that, sorry can't help.

Just a thought, is there a little light on your remote which lights up when you press a button?
If so, is it lighting up when pressed?

changing battery doesn't affect remote programming - do you have another remote to try - does central locking work from switches/door locks etc. ? - check in ICC menu under locking to make sure you haven't turned remote locking off - check if remote works by holding against radio set on weak station- volume up and pressing remote and listening for interference on radio when you press remote -if vehicle is still in warranty period should be covered except if locking is turned off or some kind of physical damage ie.remote dropped etc.
program remote - doors closed - accessory position - 3 pushes of rear demist button- door locks should cycle then push button on remotes....

Thankyou for your help guys, i tryed doing as you said but still had no luck which is very annoying :(. I was going to tryt and disconnect the battery but i wasnt sure if it would make any difference at all.

Yes my car is still in the extended warranty so i think its up to ford to figure it out.
