all the time's i've had battery problem's as long as it was running it was fine just not great, until i stopped it then nothing. whenever it discharged and died while driving it was the ALT that was the problem.

Alt oh dear, really best idea to try new battery first then alt u recon?

My auto elect said afew days ago that, he showed me the car starting with the battery i have in there now which at the time had abit of charge in it and when he started the engine one of the cells bubbled up alittle and seems the water in that cell its a little murky water? while the others have clean water in them? I wounder if this is causing all my electrical problems I have explained?

you can try a new battery will be better in the long run, tho on what i have experienced i'm gonna put my bet on the ALT.

I see what you mean, but afew days ago when we have the engine running on a now dead battery the alt was reading 14.xx volts so quite confused at the moment, someone else said that a bad battery can cause the electrics to play up and cause all the electrics to be sluggish, which is what I have.

the regulator in the alternator was also mentioned, i would put a fresh battery in it and check/clean the earth point's. when driving keep a eye on the dash volt meter for sudden dipping ie, when you indicate/ hit the brake etc... it should twitch maybe a little but not to much.

I thought I'd keep you blokes informed, got the car towed to the garage this afternoon, turns out its the alternator that's the problem but I want to thank all of you trying to help me solve this problem, thanks again, cheers
