Hey, I'm currently running Phillips Crystal Vision H4 globes in my EL Fairmont headlights. I find that the low beams, whilst they look good, are PISS POOR at lighting up the road ahead. I want some better globes. I don't want to fit HID's, but ideally I'd like a fair bit better performance out of my headlights, as I do alot of rural/country driving at night. I am considering either the Narva Plus 120 Globes, or the Phillips X-Treme Vision +100% Globes, but I'm certainly open to other suggestions. I'm not so concerned about my high beams, but the low beams defiantly need improvement. What do people suggest? I want to remain legal too.

Cheers, Gab

Can you adjust the beam angle?
I know I did this on my ef xr and it made it 10x better with the standard globe

The beam angle is correct. The issue is the globes themselves don't have enough light output.

The issue is the reflector/headlight is just plain crap. My AU xr with diamond vision (Even higher colour temp) lighted the road up great, only a little less than the narva plus 100's

^^^This.

My EL had HIDs in it when I bought it. Not really much of an upgrade. The light out of them is still s**t. The best upgrade you can do is the twinlights. I went from genuine headlights with HIDs to stock halogen twinlghts. These s**t all over the stock units. Didn't need to put HID's in the twinlights, they provided decent enough light.
