Hey Joe,

Chris here.

With regards to the stuff we talked about today, I will definately be a willing participant. Will have to drop my baby around on a weekend as I need the car for work during the week (Go back to work next week).

Are you guys open on weekends?

Ifso, I'll probably be looking at around May 10 if that can be done?

I like it mate! It definately is a bit more sensitive, requires less effort on the throttle to get some response, that's for sure!

Looks a great deal better too :)

Awesome mate, look forward to seeing you on the 10th!

Will be interesting to see what it is like on a petrol AU ... and see how much the ECU does try to make changes. If it's anything like the EGAS ... it might not be too bad at all.

It'd be interesting to see what mine is like on the rollers again and overlay dyno runs to see where the differences are. I can tell for sure now that it takes a lot less effort below 2000rpm to really get going.

Oh ... I left my old rocker cover in your hot washer as well. DOH.

hi guys i have an auto permanent n/a ef engined el .has dizzy, xtraktors 2.5 system 1 rear mufflr, pod ,snorkel ,future box vent
i want more response. its also a bit sluggish through the lower range.
i dont want to muck wif the head or ecu this year save a few resistors if needed ,so drivabilty with room for improvment would be good.
the car currently needs diff so thats negotiable and recommendations welcome!
i have my bbm plenum off for polishin is there anything i can do in regards to polishing, honing or porting that wil complement your recommended cam?
cam,gear,springs eetc $?
should i pass it for blue slip before recommended upgrades?
thanx a billion

Joe has started on my AU i6! :)

Put in his stage 2 Cam today and has picked up about 8kW and 70Nm so far! (131kW and 350Nm)

Taking it back on Friday in order to get some fine tuning :D (Aiming for 140!)

Cheers Joe, you're a champ!

Does this stage 2 cam have a slight lope at idle fitted to an AU?

Anyone have sound files?

Hey Guys,

I have a XR6 xh falcon ute. 11/96 model. Im having an issue with it holding idle at a stand still. some days its worse then others. its drops between 1200-1800 rpm. Has any one else had any issues like this? Its a 5speed manual with 4ltr tickford engine.

Cheers
Heidi
