Anyone know where the fuel filter is located on a 2004 Hyundai Accent? Been meaning to change the one on my gf's car for about 8 months now, but still havn't found it. Just spent a while following the fuel lines from the fuel rail to the tank and there's nudda. Any ideas?

By the looks of it it had never been changed before, 80,000kms on the original filter...

A lot of the newer stuff is going to intank fuel filters, so they don't have to run a return line, this keeps fuel tank emissions down, and the fuel doesn't get hot like on return line types.

But surely thereis still a return line from the extra pressure in the lines that the regulator lets through?
