Gday, If a gas carby was off the car for a while, would it need to be re-kitted or something before you put it back on a car? How long can you leave them off without f*cking them up?

It'll be fine, I had the same lpg carby ( known as a "mixer") of my ZA for 6 months and it ran perfectly after i put it back on. Mixers's dont have seals etc that can dry out like carbys.

I would assume so, contact some LPG fitters they should know for sure. I would say yes.
They're a good mixer too. I had a straight gas 351W, you just bolt the mixer straight onto a holley base plate.

Also , when I get the 425, i want to get a new manifold. Ive heard a single plain manifold is better for staright gas set ups. Is this true? Prolly go an Edelbrock or can anyone else suggest something different. Aswell as that I want a new cam , again any suggestions? These mods plus a regraphed dissy should give me ok perfromance from the 351 shouldnt it?
Cheers :)
