hi
im in the middle of putting bbm on my ea and i have a problem..
im using the au manifold and it has 4 wires on the air charge sensor..
they are BLUE/ YELLOW , PINK , BLACK/WHITE AND BLACK/YELLOW..
im using the mpfi harnes
and the ea only has 2 wires YELLOW/RED AND BLACK/WHITE.

does anyone know what wires i connect or what i can do..

i cant swap the sensors as they are different...

please help....

The au manifolds use a combined air temp and map sensor. Im not sure if its compatible with the e-series ecu's.

Assuming it is, you need to work out what wires are for the map and what are for the air temp and go from there. Should be able to work it out with a multimeter.

un fortunatly i dont have a multi meter at the moment...

f**k!!!!!
what would happen if i did a trial and error ...just connect 2 try and start it than try a different 2 and try start it.. or will it kill the ecu if its wrong

well as i dont want to risk killing my ecu doing the trial and error thing..

i got a bit of a update .....
i rang the wreckers where i got my engine from and they said i can swap the au manifold for a el one which should have the 2 wire sensor..

can anyone confirm that the el has the round plug with 2 wires for the air charge sensor

Get the EF/EL manifold. The AU temp sensor has a different temp/resistance curve and will not work with E-series ECU's.
