thanks guys, i have richened the entire map up but 1.2%, not much but noticable. Everything is slightly smoother ect...

Im running 37.5* at wot which is quite a bit i think but it blows smoke even at 25*. Im fairly sure it isnt a injector/fuel problem.
Maby a sensor setting..?

About the worn rings, this could be correct. Im deffinate it isnt white/oil smoke tho, but i think it would benifit from a nice rebuild...maby worth doin b4 turbo :?

Someone also told me the smoke could just be soot in the zorst being blowen out after a long cruise, i really need someone to drive behind me. It also looks worse as i have a dumper exhaust which blows up alot of dust n s**t off the road :)

Good stuff, its alot of fun tuning yourself and finding out what effects the performance.

Maybe save the rebuild for after the turbo... you need a motor to practice tuning on... oooops, too much boost hehehe

Johno, just for reference, Every time Ive been behind your car and you have hit wot I have seen that unburnt fuel smoke come out. I especially remember it from the cruise to mundaring last year.

Im having the same problem.. and the answer the tuner gave me is
Quote:
It will not be unburnt fuel , mixtures are in the 12.8's all across the range , you will see a lot of carbon buildup coming out of the exhaust which is pretty normal - have a look at a V8 touring car on full noise :)

Im not dissing this guys tuning in any way, just pointing out that maybe its normal due to your gayishly big cam?

Carbon buildup is possible.. do you get many exhaust backfires?

Cheers

burbling is ok.. I meant backfires.. just thinking unburnt fuel in exhaust.. bang. Unburnt due to running rich. So maybe it is just carbon buildup.. especially if it was running really rich before or something.

Cheers
