Anyone know the fuel regulator pressures for the AU I6's?
If you have a Gregories, Max Ellery, Haynes or genuine Ford manual handy (I don't as mine are all EF for obvious reason), it should say in the fuel section under specifications. E.g. in the EF Haynes one it says "Fuel pressure (at idle) ...... 225 kPa" and "Fuel pressure (engine off) ...... 275 kPa".

got this from a worksop manual, not sure if its what your after though.


PRESSURE TEST
1. 'T' The fuel pressure gauge (refer Special Tools section)
into the fuel delivery line.
2. Start the engine if possible and note the fuel pressure at
idle.
Specification: 225 kPa, 250 kPa (I6HO).
If the engine cannot be started install a remote control
switch at the relay, see Note (b) on page 10-2-1.
Operate the switch and note pressure.
Specification: 275 kPa, 300 kPa (I6HO).
3. If the pressure reading is low slowly close off the fuel
delivery test line between the gauge and the fuel rail
while operating the pump. Pressure should increase to
at least 400 kPa.
If pressure does not increase a faulty fuel pump is
indicated.
FUEL FLOW (VOLUME) TEST
(Fuel pressure test completed)
WARNING: Engine must be switched off during this
test.
1. Disconnect the fuel return line from the steel line (lower
dash panel) and place the end of the flexible hose into a
graduated container.
2. Operate the remote control switch for 10 seconds, see
Note (b) on page 10-2-1.
3. Remove the measuring container and check contents
against spec.
240cc, 280cc (I6HO)
NOTE: Fuel volume must be at nominal regulated
pressure.
275 kPa, 300 kPa (I6HO).

Appreciated. What ones it from?
If it is from an AU, qeer that the workshop manual refers to kPa, where the regulator is marked in bar. Also that it talks about 275 and 300 kPa, like the EF/EL ones, yet the AU reg I have is marked as 3,5 bar which is 350kPa.

hey, its the AU II workshop manual. they seem to refer to all pressures in kPa.
