i was thinking using the haltech interceptor, do i only need to control fuel because i have the dissy?

If your going to the trouble of installing an aftermarket ECU you may as well control timing as well as fuel to get the most out of your engine. As stated before EMS needs no dizzy mods. Costs between $1000 -$1600 for ECU depending on the model you choose.

If your only going to run 6 psi and use standard injectors buy a rising rate fuel reg and keep the standard ECU

wheres the best place to buy an EMS from?
can you do an ebay search for me to see if theres any on there i could use.
and what models should i be looking at.

im not sure about how to go about the rising rate reg option. i dont really want a dodgy job of it, but id be prepared to do it while i save for the ecu, whats involved with the rising rate reg?

Rising rate is not a big job and is a cheap option until you save money for aftermarket ecu and larger injectors. I ran mine that way for a couple of weeks until I saved money for EMS. Engine ran pretty good I had it on a dyno just to check A/F rations under full noise and it was running fat as, low 11"s. Car made 178 rwkw on 6 psi of boost so I was happy with the result. I now have my EMS fitted and working on my tune well over 200 now. You can contact EMS directly either by email or Ph.

All you need to do is connect rising rate into fuel line then run a fuel line to the fuel rail. Connect a vacum line to manifold

Web site is www.enginemanagementsystem.com ask for Peter and tell him what you planning and he will direct you to the right product. Then find a good tuner who knows the product. If your in Sydney Rigoli is the man to talk to. Once again Peter can give you advise on tuners close to you.

good luck with what ever you decide, you will love it

I used a Sard on mine. Turbosmart also make them plenty of other brands as well. Depends once again on your budget. There should be some engine tuners on this forum that could advise you as well. Just give them a PM
