Have just recently purchaced this car
No rego and they seem to have tried to hot wire it as they lost the keys and a screwdriver into the lock
So no keys and damaged ignition
Broke the steering lock to move it(the car) and now have replaced the ignition with a brand new one from ford.
K problem is the car will not start as apparently the computer needs to recognise the new keys??
Is this correct and is there any way around this? As i have read the docs it does not seem to help
As I live in north west western australia (the closest FORD dealer for reprogramming is 800 km away)
There is in fact a local mechanic thas has looked into it but is unable to acsess the program through his computer
Any and All suggestions will be a great help
