Just wondering if they are any different??? or the same just different shape??
Just wondering because my EL ones have done 150,000kms and I have AU ones that have done about 30,000kms. thanks guys. Laticia.

They are better injectors and they spray in 4 directions instead of one, if i remember. They are also about 2lbs more i think.

the ef/el injectors are 18.25 lb and the au ones are 20lb

its an I6 so i'd be better of putting the AU ones in??

i have had AU injecters in me old 3.9 EB and it improved alleration etc etc and EA to EL injectos are essenital the same

Hmm thats interesting, might chuck a set of AU injectors in my Fairmont soon, i think my ones havent been cleaned in their 200,000+km life

yeah but dont tell anyone that ..... people like to think fitting bigger injectors from a later model car is a power mod
i had my car tuned recently with stock fuel reg & injectors, and even at 157rwkw was running too rich and needed more air, not fuel i think a large bore throttle body would be a more worthwhile mod, as these things already run rich from the factory |

I understand the spray pattern would give more power as the fuel is atomized better therefore you get a more complete burn. I just wasn't sure how much bigger injector you could go before the computer lost control.

I have had recoed AU's in my EF engine for a while now. It runs smoother, but power hasn't changed, maybe a little more low end torque. It does run a tiny bit richer, but will soon be tuned out.
I only recoed my injectors because they were out anyway, so may aswell, i'm kind of a perfectionist is those type of things. 30k Au injectors should be clean, and will be better than e series ones.
