Hi
i was looking at either
1. getting a flash tuner or
2. getting an aftermarket ecu specifically the wolf 3d v500

The flash tuner will obviously be the simpler option, but having full logging and 3d graphs will make tuning a lot easier.

Would i be able to use both ecus the stock and the aftermarket. use the stock for smart lock, abs ect and use the aftermarket for ignition, fuel ect

will the stock ecu still work if it doesnt get signals from ignition, fuel ect sensors

what do people recommend???

thanks in advance for any help
from doug

wow 16 and looking at aftermarket computers... lol

for those features u could get a motec cause i know thats what comes with mine, mind u you prolly dont have the coin cause they do get pretty pricy.

the new unichips can do this with the bluetooth module that can be intalled and looked at on a pda or smartphone. you can use this to tune and took at enigne parameters. they are called the Unichip Q (NA) and Q+ (Turbo). this could be done for under 2k installed and tuned
