does anyone know if the 5ltr windsors computers can be tweaked at all, or if there are chips available for them?

Yeah it can be done but I don't think they give much at all. WOT fuel maps can be leaned out a bit and some more timing can be added but the MAF based system used on the V8's is pretty well tuned IMO. Personally I would used the $600+ on some other mods rather than a chip.

Yeah EDXR8 hits the nail squarely on the head... a bit more timing down low and a bit less fuel up top... I'd say overall benefits may be similar to advancing timing and running 98RON fuel.... spend your hard earned on something more beneficial... i.e. extractors or intake manifold...
