and what can you do with them???
where can i get one ?
can i tune it my self or do i need to have that done????

Retune your engine to suit mods or mild forced induction

Can only be tuned by chiptorque.

is there any really power gains i was told around 8rwkw

is there any other chip i can get that i can tune with a laptop

and what are other chip priced at

8kw sounds about right. They get more power by tuning your car more aggresively (removing the safety margins ford put in there). The more mods you have, the bigger the gains.

There are no chips that you can program youself. If you want to tune it you need to get a replacement ECU. They start at $400 odd for a MS2 if you build it yourself or $1000+ for ready made commercial products like an EMS stinger.
