There is no real point seeing the single 65mm TB is not a restriction, 6 throttle bodies would give no real performance increase IMO and would be a pain to setup properly. It may in fact end up costing you a lot of performance seeing the only practical way to run 6 TBs would be on a very short runner intake setup, which would give very little low and midrange power at all. It would work on an engine that likes to rev high, but the 4L's don't like to do that.

I think it would be a logistical nightmare to try and squeeze 6 TB's under the hood let alone linking 'em all together. :?

The best bet there would be to fit triple side-draught webbers and use them as throttle boddies.
The induction sound would be phat as!!!!

A nice big block with quad IDA down-draughts wedged into a Shelby AC Cobra is still a dream of mine.

you can get injection TBs that will bolt to webber manifolds.

it wouldn't realy be that hard to do. get an XF tripple webber manifold cut the head flange off it and have a MPI flange welded on.

bolts up easy to set up. the TBs from EFI hardware come with all the needed linkages, soft mounts, velocity tubes in straight or 90 degree bent.

have them so the tottle length is about 7 or 8 inches long from head to the end of the stack. use 45mm version of the TB.

having 6 TB realy has nothing at all to do with it wanting or needing the revs. If you get the intake length right you get it to run very well in the 4L rev ability.

keeping in mind that any one doing this would already have a well preped engine with a cam along the lines of the Alted stg3

some one willing to do all of this would in my opinion be the first to break 200rwkw.
though to do it you would also need to put as much thought and time into designing and building a set of extractors and exhaust system to go with it

ps: it might have me you are talking about with seeing it befor on here.
unfortunatly to do it would push my budget for the engine so i'm designing a different intake that should be a little cheaper, but probably take more work and time to get right.

There was a XE in Zoom a few years ago with 3 twin barrel TBs and it pulled around 180wkws... use a V3 wolf, some head work/cam and thats about all

Cant remember what he used but they were similar to these...
