Here's a question for the Gas installers and tuners out there.

I'm going to be getting gas in my ghia shortly, and am curious to know what tuning adjustments are made from standard when a car is running on gas?

And if the tuning is adjusted to ake advantage of the higher octane LP provides, if when running on petrol, would that mean Premium, (OPtimax or O Extreme) would run better on that tune?

And if you are just going to reply to this thread with "Gas sux, don't bother with it" or something akin to that, please don't waste mine and everyone elses time! :) No interested!

gas isn't tuned by the ecu, you control the fueling on the mixer, as i understand it. so the two tunes would be seperate. i'm probably wrong though :p.

But the mixer is controlled wither by the ECU or a piggyback device, correct?

hmm. you just turn a screw on the mixer and it increases or decreases the fuelling.

my understanding is that the gas runs like a carby, u just tune the mixtures, doesnt run off the ECU.
