i sold my eb monty to a bloke i know. he has fitted some accessories to it. he came and saw me today. apparently now when he puts the high beams on, the auto goes into limp. if he stops the car, and switches it off, it comes good. also, when high beam is on, it flashes the lights in the dash that show the doors being open. all the wires are on the battery. the terminals are clean. he hasn't touched any of the auto wiring. i told him to disconnect all the s**t he has hooked up to it first. any suggestions ?

Grab a multimeter and check the charge from the altinator
the regulator controls the lights on the dash and it the charge is spiking it turns them on and off ect

it only flashes the door open bit. the illumination part and the idiot lights don't flash.

Check the battery connections. had this similar prob at one stage anything with voltage spike, the auto wasnt happy.

it was one of the poxy accessories. removed it and now all is well again.
