All,

I have taken the spreadsheet thats been floating around here for yonks and turned it into a searchable database. Find the first cut here:

http://www.tiperformance.com.au/eec_database.php

I plan to add the following functions:
- detail page w/ link to BIN dump
- search by box code / part #
- add/comment function

Any other comments/feedback appreciated...

Jason

AWESOME work dude, just brilliant. 4DCD is even on there - my favourite... Only thing I can see is that FUEL is rated at 3:23 and DIFF RATIO is 98 OCTANE. If petrol was 3:23 diluted, it'd be a lot cheaper. Other than that, bloody brilliant!

Thanks for the heads up, swapped them over :)

If anyone has corrections please let me know. I want to make this the EEC bible if possible!

Good idea with database.
Some problems: when 5L selected (last row, search by engine) its all right on first page, but going to second page- and there are 4L as well there. After pressing "return" button going to "mixed mode" with 3,9, 4 and 5L engines.
And the same story with "EL" section- looks like second page is the same as for 5L search?
And is it possible to add "database home" button to return on the first page from any place?

Cheers for the feedback!

Bit harder to add the other list as they arent individual box codes, trying to come up with an idea to make that work... will see how I go.

Ill sort out the other bugs when I get the time!

Okay - This problem still is present --- It is not just the 5.0L selection, but is ANY selection. For instance - Hit ""4.0L"" and it comes up with PAGE ONE OF FOUR. But when you select ""PAGE TWO"" it says PAGE TWO OF TWENTY as the database has lost the search information and has reverted to the complete list.

Tell you what tho, I love the T.I. Performance logo that appears in the title bar of your browser... Beauty work that

Hi Guys,

Im hoping someone can answer this, as the search is not working well, I have only found a few posts re this with no conclusive answers.

I have a EF Futura, stock as except for it being on gas and a Tickford head and larger air inlet.

The car has a 4DSA, and from what I can ascertain this is a remanufactured computer.

I have another spare computer, a 4DCC which is know is from a EF Fairmont Ghia 4.0 Auto 3.23

1. Is there going to be any way to know what the 4DSA is?

2. Does anyone know what differences there would be from say a stock computer in a EF Futura to the 4DCC? Considering that it is all standard except for Tickford Head?

I have changed over a while back although dont know if it is actually different in a good way? Would be good to know before I look at a J3

Thanks for your help! :)

Series 1 & 2 would run the same ECU (catch code), only the revision letter would change (last letter)..

what makes you say this? so far noone has actually pulled the code from a EL2 XR8.

the engine changes were huge - i doubt there was only a revision change.

I say this because only the programing of the ECU would change(no extra wiring in the loom), hence the change of the revision..

Kyle,

From the lists, 6DDB is just a Falcon Auto ECU so im guessing 6DDA an older revision of the same. 6DMA is NL Concorde (nfi if it had SPSS). All LWB ECUs will be Auto. Your 6TAC J3 will override whatever the ECU is anyway.

ah ok, I had to take my chip out a lil while ago, after a standard ECU reset while the car would be learning the car would randomly start surging and running way too rich, i suspected the chip failed.

Not all LWB ECU's are auto, some wagons have manuals and they are classed as LWB..
