Ok guys, the Turbo project is comming up and I need to sort out my electrical side. I am after an aftermarket ECU under $2K. Any one have any suggestions on a half decent one? Thanks guys!

With the 8860 Auto tune feature, whats that about? What exactly does it do? |

If its anything like the autotune on my ecu, you load the base tune in, go for a drive with autotune turned on and the tunes the VE table (volumetric efficiency) until it hits your target AFR.
You can download the EMS software and have a play. Looks very easy to use.

Really?? That sounds good for getting the car up and running for a dyno! I have got the EMS software and had a bit of a play. Really nice program to use but its a bit hard without the ECU its self.

FPV Has a group buy of Wolfs at the moment, For $999 you cant go wrong. They work well and there is a few of us on the forums that are running them in our boosted falcons..
In the end I would find a good tuner, that you think you can trust and buy what he prefers to tune. At the end of the day the tuner will make more of a difference then the brand of ECU.. Good luck with it all.. |

Good luck with it all.. Ok, thanks for that. I know of someone that tunes EMS 8860's but Im not to sure of anyone that tunes Wolf's. If I looked hard enough, I could probably find one! |
