ok I have some eec units sitting here these are the catch codes that are on them and the cars that I removed them from.

4DAF EF 5speed manual 3.23 diff yes it is a manual I fitted the same one in my car when I did the manual conversion

4DCE EF Futura wagon auto 3.08 diff

4DTA EF Fairmont Ghia auto 3.23 diff
Is the Fairmont Ghia one a tickford unit

I think the "T" indicates a Tickford unit

Nope,
when used the "T" must be the second character in the catch code.
EG; 6TTB happens to be an EL XR8 EEC. Of course that's not hard and fast either, I have seen some tickford vehicles without any T in the catch code and vehicles like EB GT and Sprint are a case in point...2DDA and 2DCA (auto and manual respectively). EB tickford fairmonts usually have 1DEB catch code.
