I know this has been talked about before.i just got an ef futura it ony has 160.000 on the clock the problem is when i first start it it wont idle it shudders and f@rt around i have to hold my foot on the gas till it warms up then its fine until i turn the air on then the idle goes s**t again. do you think its in the ecu with those things that blow that one dude on here was talking about before. and ive already changed the isc solenoid ?

try swapping with another ECU.
haven't got a vacuum leak anywhere?

got the same problem.... asked a mate at ford and he rekons to change the ecu, so im goin to try that tomorrow and see if it fixes it.. apparently its a prob in the ecu where somthing isnt earthing...

i'll let u know how i go

i relearnt the base idle was great while motor was hot which they tell you to do this with a hot motor.the next day started it when cold and it was the same again s**t
