Hey all,

I've just picked up an EF 6 cyl Tickford ECU, and I want to put it in place of the stock EF ECU.

Is it right that the speedo will only be thrown out if I change my stock 3.08 diff to a 3.45.

So does that mean the Tickford ECU will work fine in my car?

I heard that the shift points will be out of whack if I try using it without a diff & speedo gear change ...is this true?

Should I just hold back on swapping ECU's until I get the diff (& speedo gear) changed?

slap it in!
It won't effect ur speedo.
It just won't benefit as well w/o the 3:45:1 (in an auto) as the shift isn't optimum!

Yeah, but will it work better than my stock ECU, or should I wait 'til I get the 3.45 diff?

What other differences will it have, ...better idle etc?

PMSL ...I can always rely on no-s**t advice from you Gaz!

Those benefits sound just the ticket...

f**k it, I'll just whack it in.

Will it still work OK with my adjustable shift-kit ...or won't I need it now? lol
