cheap go faster mod? drive down hill, or pay someone 20 bucks to take you around the block in their xr6t.

whats so special bout an xr-t??? Mate Ive raced a manual NA XR-6 in my old wagon and pumped it by more then 2 car lengths to 100K's.

XR-6 TURBO HAS beaten me by about 3 lengths to 100, mate they are nothing.
I hate commo's but my mate has a VUSS with a 22 psi vortech under the bonnet. this = 426rwkw. thats fun and you know what, i dont have to pay him...lol)

Put the exact same $$ into a XR6T as what is in that s/c VU SS and the turbo will embarrass it on a daily basis. and use a lot less fuel. and be cheaper to rego. and not be as wankerish.

and how much did he spend on that ss? and how much would you have to spend on an xr6t to get it to the same level?

you give me an xr6turbo and 6 grand and ill show you 400rwkw.

plazmaman intercooler .plenumn valve springs injectors and a flapper valve for the turbs. theres 1000 mn of touque on tap there.

in saying that the holden v8 with some boost aint so bad either but to run 22 psi he must have a bottom end in it and injectors intercooler all that stuff so id say theres over 20k spent there.

if i had a nother 10k so make it 16k i would add a bottom end and wind up the boost 500 rwkw anyone?

Or you can sell your car, get a loan and buy a rx7. Well anything with a rotary. With 10 grand, you will have a sub 10 sec car down the 1/4 mile.

Uhh, 12.1 I found the Ferrari F50 to do with a small search on google.....I've seen a video of a 10 second Subaru Brumby ute (numberplate HIS-14U, Tony Rigoli car) point is, who cares....?

Electric superchargers have been proven to do nothing/at best reduce your performance, theres the answer.

If you want to ask about an electric supercharger, use the search function, if you want to b**ch and moan about a mates commodore being awesome, create a new thread, this time on a commodore related site.

Fordmods used to be awesome, easy to navigate/find really good info, now because of people like yourself, the site is clogged with rubbish, it is harder to find good info.....just ruins it..

You asked "Skidder" about what he meant by "not again" It should be obvious mate, yes it says you have an exhaust, and make note of it in your sig.....but also, slapped across almost every thread on this site is the old line "use the search function" stops useless threads being created/helps you find information quickly and get the answers instantly, and stops people like me having a rant at you.

(By the way, you even posted this in the "ECU and fuel system forum" there is one called forced induction...why do I bother...I'm wondering about your "credibility")

too true mikey, im sick of rubbish crap such as this being spat out across the forums. like seriously there is multiple threads and a sticky... i rekon threads on elec s**t = ban for a week.

you have the nerve to sit here make a thread and brag about a commodore... you want that power then go bloody buy one.. seriously.if these s**t were even worth a bit you would see them everywhere.

well i guess you should go buy one... the guy on ebay needs to feed his family and get rid of those old computer parts

it would be good if the search was acutally usefull! like tits on a bull!
half the time it gives no results, and then when it does who wants to sift through 30 pages of threads!
its quicker just to post a new thread than look through so many pages of rubbish, thats the reason why people post repetative questions...

Good point.

It randomly shows threads that have made mention of the search topic even if mentioned in just one sentence?!

This is all true........the search is fairly woefull.....BUT, another search function is, my 6 cylinder falcon is cool.......i'd like more poke, what do I do?

Start by actually reading the titles of each forum (seeing as this was posted in the ecu and fuel forum.........reading seems beyond some people  ),6 cyl workshop forum is there for your use, tech documents forum is there........not hard to navigate the site.
