Hi Guys, newbie to the forum here.

I'm looking at purchasing Ford Racing's Mass Air Conversion kit for my project. Has anyone used this kit? If so, any problems?

Also a question oninjectors. On a basically stock 5.0 (apart from headers, a 65mm throttle body and a baby cam), would 19lb injectors be the way to go with this kit or should I go for the 24lb jobs?

Thanks! :D

The only real upgrade MAF kit Ford do that would be suitable is the 70mm MAF with 30lb injectors, which would be too much of an overkill on your engine IMO. I would be looking at an aftermarket MAF from C&L or PMAS. 19lb injectors are ok for stock to mild engines, but if changing the MAF you may as well do it properly and grab one calibrated to 24lbers along with the injectors, that way you will have plenty of reserve for future mods.

Is your motor a very early mustang 5.0l with a speed density computer ????? Or are you doing this to get a bigger MAF ????

You could get better results with an aftermarket MAF.
