s**t i must drive like my grandmother,
Last week i reset my avg L/100k's and i've done 683k's with the range still saying i've got another 40k's to empty. The average is 9.6L i think.
About 100k's of that is city driving and the rest is on the hyway.
It's a 4L Auto with no engine mods.

I get about 450 to a tank with thr 3.9mpfi city driving

just driving to and from work which is mainly 80-90km/h I manage to get 630 to a tank.

And can get all the way from adelaide to melbourne on a full tank highway driving using the cruise control, about 700kms I think.

On the highway my EL will get 700km out of a 68l tank. (around 9l/100)

Around town, I use about 12l to the 100km.

I use premium, generally Vortex 95 RON.

Tempted to try BP Ultimate, and I will try advancing the base timing a little to get the full advantage of the higher octane.

Engine is bog standard.

in my 1983 ZK Fairlane Classic (two tone paint, mine was light blue over silver), I got 450kms around town out of a tank of fuel and about 600kms on the highway, It was an 18 year old car (at the time i had it).

I also had a 4.1 litre fuel injected engine, the old three speed auto gearbox, an 85 litre tank, poor aerodynamics and it only ran on super petrol - no LPG!

EL 4.0L auto

Driving moderately hard I can get about:

380km to a tank of LPG
420-450 to a tank of PULP

I'm on BP ultimate at the mo' and she's done ~300km on pretty close to half the tank, I'll let you know how that one finishes at the end of the week... mmm 98RON :D

All of those figures are for a mix of daily city (peak hour) and freeway driving. Bit over 300km's a week to and from work.

heh, i get 350km MAX out of 50l of premo in my non-turbo 2.5l subaru around town and about 500 on the highway, my friends EB xr6 manual with a f**k cat got 350km out of a tank.. when we replaced the cat and did a full 2.5" system a few weeks ago, her economy has risen by nearly half, she gets over 600km out of a tank of premo now. also goes a s**t better. her bf's XH ute gets about 600 out of a tank and there will be no such thing as economy on my EB when its finished.. got mah t04 the other night :D
