Hi guys, on my EF Falcon, The fuel economy has been bad lately, its happend since i ran out of petrol the other day... this car has been getting abuse only for the fact it gets run dry sometimes:(

Cars been sluggy as hell, if im going at 60 and put my foot down it takes 2 secs to realise then slowly goes up..

Anyway, suggestions?

( Just for a note, Oxy sensor has been replaced a month ago so its not that)

if it ran out of fuel the other day, and often runs really low on fuel...then your injectors are dirty or clogged. get some injector cleaner from supercheap and run that through.

should help a bit...i think

but there are heaps of people on here who could tell you exactly whats wrong, so they'll be able to help you properly

Whats your fuel economy?
I need over 20 litres just to go 100k's. I spent heaps on it. I bet it's not as bad as that. Something else could be your problem too.

Owners handbook/manuals say not to run these cars dry, it f**k the cat, so maybe you have a blocked cat ? along with the fuel pump?, dont run it dry, leave a bit in there.

two medium adjusters will do it fine. its under the rear passenger side too. so if the ride is lowered you'll need a ramp or something. you need to depresserise the system too.

round cover under boot carpet. disconnect the pump and start the engine
