changed the filter today hopefully this is why it idled a little rough
old filter has 50 000km on it and this is the fuel that come out of it.
i think i should change it more often.

My fuel filters never looked that dirty even when they were nearly %100 blocked.

I think your fuel tank needs a clean.

Yeah that's incredible. As he said, clean the tank out and stop using that bowser you use all the time (if you keep going to the one place that is). Seek another place to get your fuel. :oops:

problem is we only got one servo in town. but i recon the car just diddnt run the same after a filled up at a servo near Marybrough on my way to brissie.

Yeah, i have the filter changed at every service. Dosnt cost that much either.

thats definately not right. Check your tank, or just take your fuel pump out, and have a look at the sock, if that fuel filter was in that condition, I dunno how long your pump is going to last.

how long has it taken you to do that 50,000km? remember, the m'mt servo had some work done on its tanks/lines/pumps not too long ago

If that fuel came from a servo you'd be extremely p****d off wouldn't you, I'd be fuming <- yeah pun inteded :P

thats nasty!
i changed mine yesterday, and it wasn't too bad.

i would be pulling the pump out and cleaning the strainer like others have said.

im pretty sure the old filter was over a year old, when i get a chance ill have a look inside the tank. if its too bad i mite clean the tank some how and put on a new filter.
