Hi all,
has anybody had a new fuel pump installed lately on an EF/EL V8?
might have to get mine replaced and I'm tossing up between going standard new or the more high flow series for possible future engine mods.
thanks.

No harm in going for the walbro pumps, theyre cheaper than OEM anyway! They come in 255L/hr and ~160L/hr varieties. I think the standard pumps are around 80L/hr.

Try this on ebay:

http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search ... +fuel+pump

2 pumps at bottom of page are what you need.

I'm putting an EF Tickford ECU in my GLi this weekend.

As I heard there's no difference in the size of the injectors between XR and GLi, but fuel pressure regulator is larger (300kPa) on XR's ...do you think it wouldn't hurt to go a slightly larger pump than standard in the Walbro (say 160L/hr) with the larger 300kPa regulator in my GLi?

Also bearing in mind I will be getting an RPD Stage 2 cam next month...

Sorry to hijack the thread ...just wondered what you guys would think.
