Does anyone run a Gold Powerchip?

The statement below is from their website.

"In standard form, the Falcon XH/XHII 4.0 produces 148 kW and 353 Nm.

Powerchip has a range of chips to suit your car, which can increase it's power to between 153 kW and 162 kW, and it's torque to between 367 Nm and 388 Nm."

Do they perform?
Is it worth it?

Thanks

i've been told that powerchips are only good when performing only exhaust/header mods. Anything further such as cam/headwork renders these chips useless as they are pre programmed fuel maps and such, basically a one type fits all chip.

Have you got a Powerchip or tried one?

Why is it a rip?

Never used one myself, but have seen a lot of threads about them. One thing I have noticed is that for every post saying they are good there are another 10 saying they are rubbish.

Chiptorques have a much better reputation and costs about the same.
