I think my coil pack is dead.. what problems would this cause and how do I check if its dead or not.. Cheers

Pull off leads, then start car, which is firing, which isnt, or diagnostic can pick it up i think.

sometimes, runs like a dream..

othertimes, just underload going up a small hill it will missfire and backfire from the airbox somewhere.. leads and plugs are fine.. ?

pull leads off car = no car start :)
