How does one remove the ecu from an AUII falcon, i went to swap ecu's this arvo after work, The ECU cradle is held on with a headless screw a security screw looks something like the pop rivets which hold on the e-series c/locking solenoid.

any ideas

does your earth screw look like it has been drilled out and tapped or is it unmarked.

might have to wait til krupted jumps online next he maybe have an idea.

you will need to drill the security screw out, use a good 6mm drill but

Well i got to it, used a 5.5 drill bit (only one i could find in toolbox lol) note to self next time use power drill not cordless, 10 minutes later :P i got the head off the sec screw, pushed the trim away removed and replaced ecu nothing hmm forgot to research the bcm smartshield relearn.
