Has anyone had any experences with TSI interceptors? and what you think of them. (like JMM and Bluepower offer)

Also has anyone live dyno tuned a Chiptorque chip and what were the results.

I am look at these as a comparison to a full aftermarket ecu. Idealy I would like to be able to edit my factory ecu. But it does not look like any one will be releasing an edit for Eseries ecu's any time soon.

What I can get but still not happy with:
Wolf3d V4 $1600 installed and tuned
EMS 4424 $1550 installed and tuned
EMS Duel Sport $1350 installed and tuned
EMS 8860 $1800 installed and tuned
Microtech LT10 $1700 installed and tuned

My opinion is that a stand alone ECU is the the best.

If not, then chiptorque. Those interceptors are the same price as a stand alone ecu (JMM = $1900), but dont have the same functionality, and I doubt you will be able to tune them yourself.

I had a chiptorque with a modified HP4 program (not dyno tuned) and it was spot on for WOT maps, but idle and partial throttle could have been better. Im sure if it was tuned on the dyno it would have been 100%, but I wanted something I could tune myself so swapped it for stand alone ecu

yeah, inteceptors can only do so much... and still cost a fortune (dunno why)... you're better off getting a whole standalone ECU...

Check out the MegaSquirts, Im running one, and they are much better than any piggyback.

I also have a chiptorque that was tuned on the dyno. Found it to be fantastic. No wireing hassels or any probs. Factory starting and idle all for $600 + $200 tuning! I would reccomend the live tune though. Gave it much better drivability.

The best option IMO.
