A young work mate who owns a clapped out old EBII (near 400k (old Avis car)) put a bottle of 6 month old kerosene in his fuel tank (cause he was low on fuel) and has been driving it in his mothers yard... would this hurt his fuel system??

Probably do it the world of good. You ever stop to wonder what is in the injector cleaners? Generally it is a mix of ethanol or tolulene and kero or some other pertoleum base cleaner.
A good mix especially if you suspect you have water in your tank is 1 litre of metho, 400mls of kero and about 50mls of ATF. Shake it up and add about 300mls to a full tank. Works great. cheers Scott

will work fine. It will burn the water away and prob give the fuel lines and injectors a good clean too!
The old man used to do it back when he had a decent car. ( he owns a VE commy now)

thats mainly whats in lead replacement aditives , not good for the cat or oxy sencor if ya use it all the time

I new that the octane boosters and injector cleaners etc etc had kero in it but i want to confirm this so his car wouldn't be hurt.. thanks

My Dad used to run a T model on Kero during the depression as petrol was in short supply, had to start it on petrol though.
