Ive read economy threads for gas before but I figured ide post up my latest figures as I found them hard to believe at first, they were higher than anything ide read in the other threads.

On a recent drive to Sydney from Brisbane I measured 556km/per 65L tank on the way down and back. (mostly 100/110km/h),

The aftermarket mods have kicked the economy up from around 430km/tank when I first got the car. go the lpg!!

When I bought the car it had the system already installed with around 30,000km on it, so im unsure as to the initial economy.

I could just manage 400km/tank at first but some new leads brought it up to around 420-430 (old ones were knackered, backfires were common)

note all these figures require granny driving and you can knock 50-100km off them if your heavy on the pedal.

what system have you got?

you can get 550km from a ticky system decent driving, this is until the car stalls as no gas left.

but most aftermarket systems can only get 450km from a tank.

mines aftermarket.
i got 410km's from 47 litres on my trip to adelaide.
the total trip from frankston -> adeliade -> thrashing around adelaide -> frankston cost me $110 in LPG.
and that was also with LPG prices in the 55cpl region out in the bush.

back in the day when my car was stock, it managed 600km's from the 67litre tank.
the 3.45 diff thats in it now dropped the figures

I get about 600km from 82-85L around the city in the ute (dedicated gas) ... but that's not gentle driving though .. and also under load too.

Want to do a good highway run .. but not too sure on the way my fuel guage works with the DTE (especially over long distance) ... suspect earthing issue with the wring from the tank to the dash guage.

But I expect around the 10L/100km mark on open highway.

It's a BRC system, is not dedicated. I assume the lpg computer helps the tickford system a fair bit?
