Hi folks,
Has anyone heard anymore on the Liquid Gas Injection(as opposed to vapour injection) systems that are supposed to be in use? Can components be bought yet? Are these components robust enough yet for any reasonable length of use...for instance; injector durability,pump durability? Cheers, Pete. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but Liquid Phase was a company that went bust years ago, I lost the link to the university that had the rights to the patents.

g'day,
I've had liquid injection fitted to my BA and it's done 60000 now. Our EF has done 210000 with it. No probs so far 
it's the vialle gear - same company as used for Ford and Tickford LPG: www.vialle.nl Not available yet and the previous post explains why

Ive had Vapour injection now for 6 years, and 200000km roughly. Love it! I also use my standard ECU.
Im not sure the liquid systems do that. Nigel |

It is all good and well that some of you are guinea pigs, but we want to be able to buy it

i'm a distributor for vialle and i've been hassling boral every chance i get.
basically the government goes and changes their mind every time they get close. there was an issue with the euro tanks not having a lockoff on them which i believe is close to being sorted out but then there's something else the government has just bought up which has put it off again. they're talking end of the year before it's commercially available but apparently i'll be one of the first ones to know when it is. they won't even send me a test unit to fit to frankie's car! lol if you're wanting to know more about it pete, i have a whole heap of info on it here that i can send you. |

I've seen the BA 6 cylinder on liquid LPG & have looked into this very extensily, Vialle & Landirenzo from what I've seen are the 2 most popular Eoupeon brands that have been using liquid injection for years, the Vialle looks & fits neat & tidy.. but they all have the same problem they cant handle big hp yet, the injector sizes are limited & the pump is only good for up to 180-200 kw engines & yes the tanks are a issue at the moment.
But if your desperate to get a system on theres Parnell Gas & Gas Injection Technologies, remember to bring a wheelbarrer full of cash cause there not cheap, on the other hand I know that once Vialle gets all the Goverment aprovals sorted out they will be much afforable. Just remembering that the GTI system is already doing better HP than this, and uses a standard LPG tank. Hmmmmm... now if he just had his startup funding.
Did anyone else also catch the anouncement this week that the new toyota hiace will have access to LPG Injection/Dual Fuel conversion from factory? Cheers Nigel |

Cheers Nigel Nope didn't see the announcement, interesting but. Well I hope Bill does get the funds, the longer GTI is out of the picture the harder it is to sell over LPG liquid injection, and it is coming fast. Price in theory should be the winner with GTI, less parts, less parts cost and less labour should make it far cheaper than liquid injection, which requires a special tank setup, fuel pump, return line, definitely separate ECU and probably other parts I have overlooked. The theory of GTI (pls correct me if I am wrong) is removal of petrol injectors, fitting LPG gas vapour injectors, special fuel rail, special gas regulator, LPG service line (as per standard LPG fitments), standard LPG tanks and lock offs. Original ECU runs the injectors and chipping or reprogramming ECU would be advised but not necessary. In my theory GTI should be far cheaper for parts and labour, remember everyone that most people fitting LPG will be doing it for cost savings, recuperating costs faster will win over maybe gained power from liquid injection.
