well a couple of months after i got my car i decided to go to queensland, 15 hours drivin straight. not bad for a 17 yr old that had his p's for about 4 months i left with a full tank and it cost me 120 on the way. 1,300 ks from my door to my mates house. i dont know wat economy that would be, but i thought that was awesome, and my car just tiked over 276,000 kms. with cruise on about 125-130 all the way. i thought i did pretty well. but i worked out, from my door to dubbo is about 600-650 ks and still had just under a quarter of a tank!!

1st bout the gto kit n now in this topic.. ur on fire!

the topic was always bout the best fuel consumption for your falcons...
not asking how many people DONT care bout fuel consumption..
anybody this side of sane take an interest in fuel economy...
i drag my car.. put it in burnout comps.... but im stil happy to know my car gets great fuel economy...

u dont have to have a crap box hyunidai to get gd fuel consumption..
my car is fast (for falcons) has 5 seats.. can tow heavy loads.. is reliable..
doesnt fall to bits after a 5 year warranty.. is a great highway cruiser n a blast point to pointand best of all- gets great fuel econemy!!!

how many xcels can claim to do the same things???
im sure alot of people would agree?? right?? back me up fellas!

Nah, I'm not s**t stiring, just gettin' my points across. After all she's a discussion forum and as far as I'm concerned, anything posted on this website is up for discussion. Good and bad comments (if I feel they're needed).
If I post something that someone completly disagrees with, I'm not gunna sook about it. I'll listen to what they have to say and probably tell 'em they're full of s**t. :)
Yes, I am on fire aren't I?
P.S; I completly agree with what ya said. Good call bud.

well the last time i drove my car i averaged about 16L/100 kms......thats city driving normal.....maybe a little fun here and there. but its still high i reckon compared to what all of u say......i think i should give it a bit of a tune.

but driving on the calder highway towards woop woop i managed to get about 12L/100km or something.......not too bad?

EA Fairmont Ghia 3 speed auto.............stock as a rock and done about 260000km. i think getting a 5 speed would make the drive better.....i hope.

cheers

phong =P~

We regularly go from Newcastle to Maryborough and back and usually get 8-9 on Pacific Highway.

One trip we went to Gunnedah, then Moree etc to Kingaroy (filled up) to Scary borough, managed to get over 800 and just on 8L/100

thats in an EL Fairmont, Cliamte on low 20's on a 44 degree day whilst doing modest 110 up to 140 out of Goondowindi

I'd say its normal to get 8 on highway and abnormal not to? You not gettin that, fix it or sell it

5L gets me back and forward on about 3-4 acres.
on the mower ... LOL

I find around town in the Territory AWD that I see low-13/100km ... and on the highway it gets mid-11/100km.

Not bad for a 2-tonne vehicle running through an AWD system.

has seen 19-20L/100km when towing though.

I used to get bout 11/100km but after the cam she sits around 13-14 :( and thats mostly country. Also wen i first got my car and i used to fill it up the range would go right up to like 550 and all that. It wont do that anymore id be lucky to have it say 450 on a full tank but i get about 550 to 600 per tank.

Anyone had this before?
