hi all,

just got my eb converted from auto to man, just wondering do you need to change the ecu over? at the moment everything stills runs like normal eg. digital spdo, trip comp and verything else the ecu does.
i was thinking you would because it would still be thinking its an auto?? whats the go people

people would say so, but ive used a EA manual MPFI ecu, and now im using a EDXR6 AUTO ecu, and theeres no difference

all u need to do is to "trick" the auto ecu into thinking it is drive..

some restor mod is in the tech documents from memory

my problem was that my car wanted to idle faster with my EB auto ECU (i couldn't trick it to be in drive) so now i'm using an ECU that i believe is an EA one...
