hi all
noticed oil splatter on bonnet last night
pcv valve was not in manifold
stuck my finger down there the rubber grommet has gone
so off to ford they dont have on there computer diagram
they were clutching a straws
does anybody have any idea of a part number or size or where i can get one
its a ef xr8 fl
its right at the back of the block just below the firewall
and it t-peices into the inlet chamber

Mine did this, I cut a larger piece of hose and "gooped" it into place. Then the original hose goes into the new gooped hose.

can you remember the gouped hose size
dont have any lying araound so have to buy one

Take the original into an auto parts shop, and then get them to measure it againts other lengths of hose. It needs to be a firm fit inside the new hose, which is then gooped into the hole in the manifold. Or go to a wreckers and see if the have any 5.0 efi motors. The valve you are after is the same on all injected Windsors, and as you have noticed, it just pulls free from the motor

i got one from ford back in april.....unfortunatley i cant find that particular receipt......i even got the gauze that sits under it from them too......ill see if i can get the part number tomoro...

fuelmiser make the PCV valve,yes... not the rubber grommet it sits on - genuine part only....

it is listed in the ford parts catalogue, maybe your local dealer was having a bad day and didnt really want to spend the time on it.

took me about 2 minutes so was pretty hard to find.....
