You can do this yourself, but at a bit of a price.

Hardware:

Either this: http://tunertools.com/proddetail.asp?pr ... WMCAN-plus

Or better still this: http://www.eepod.com/ (Products, MCS1)

And then purchase this software:
http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdirs/ ... uIndex1=41

You can do factory tune updates, change the PCM Settings (Axle Ratio/Tyre Size/Cruise Enabled/Speed Source), Personality Changes etc.

But to be honest, that's a bit much to pay unless you're going to do it to a lot of cars and get money for it....

Thank you for going to the trouble of posting the links . I think it would be a bargain as i'm sure Ford will scalp me if they do it , and once it's in their shop i can't get it back out until i pay the ransom . The only thing is that i'm not computor savvy and i may get lost in cyber space and have to submit to Ford to bail me out . Can the computor be sent away to someone like Chip Torque and be re programed without the car ? Thank's again .
