Hey,
Just wondering my EL has done 190,000ish k's, and on my last mechanics report it recommended an injector clean - $300 worth, which i'm guessing is each individual injector cleaned, o-rings and filters replaced etc. The car has been running a bit bogged down lately. Just wondering if it would be worth my time to just buy new injectors and install them, then do an injector flush on the car to clean out the fuel rail. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Remanufactured-F ... _500wt_956 Something like those? If you are going to bother changing them, fit AU injectors for the better spray pattern.

Is there improved efficiency with these injectors? Or anysort of improvement on these injectors? Cheers Josh. |

sorry mate did not read your post correctly
as for au injectors yes they have a better spray pattern which might make then more effecient at fuel atomisation there flow rate is the same as ef/el injectors |

Might just get myself some AU injectors in the new year and see how that goes. |

I thought AU's had a different electrical connecter pattern to the old Bosch injectors ( EA to EL)???

As said, they go straight in and the connectors are the same. After putting them i noticed slightly better midrange torque probably due to the better spray pattern (E-series injectors have only 1 hole which fuel sprays out of VS AU ones which have 4 tiny holes). I also noticed the car was a lot easier to start probably cause my old EF ones were pretty s**t when i pulled them out
