that's what first put me off but in the end what's better, shiny intake or colder air.
would exhaust wrap or manifold wrap work/ be suitable |

I just used exhaust wrap.
Soak it in water first and it won't make you itch and it will also wrap tighter when it wet. |

sweet thanks. had a read online and a few people have said exhaust wrap is designed to keep heat in, so it would have a negative effect.

and its a complete waste of time and money. it has been PROVEN!!!! that the speed of the air travelling through the pipe is too fast to take on any heat in the pipe work. it has been proven that you can run a pipe straight over the exhaust and it will have no effect on intake temps. heat wrap on an intake is just wank factor which will make you itchy every time you touch it

Nothing beats first hand testing and experience. |
