just curious but a mechanic i know has himself a copy of 'tech2' on his laptop, apparantly it can tune anything. im not sure, but has anyone here heard anything bout it and can we tune our EECV-5 cars with it?

Tech2 is used to reprogram holden's not fords.

bugger. i knew he was full of s**t. so what is tunable on a normal EECV5, is there any point getting the car dyno tuned at all?

Pretty much nothing, really all that can be adjusted is base timing and you don't need a dyno to do that. A dyno is more usefull for diagnosing problems with AF ratio etc or identifying low power.
