hey all

looking at getting a unichip to throw into the car - will also be throwing a new cam (more aggressive profile) as well as headwork (10:1 compression) - looking to hit 160rwkw.

what i want to know is in regards to the knock sensor how is this affected with the higher compression, as the unichip doesn't allow any adjustment.

does the unichip allow for closed loop still?

so anyone who has one installed/had one - please let me know if it was worth it or not, or if you would do anything differently.

cheers

unichip allows ignition timing adjustment... thats all you need in regards to the higher compression, if its knocking then the timings too advanced, the unichip should be tuned so it isnt knocking.
