i hook my battery up and horn and blinker stay on and will not turn over in my el xr8 any ideas what could be, had a quick look at all dash wiring but no idea what it could be..

have you had the steering wheel off? If not sounds like it could be earthing somewhere. Sounds like an aftermarket alarm issue, You can disconnect the horn so you could at least drive it to a shop to get looked at.

na not had the steering wheel of and yeh igniton wont work, ive had the car for two year and played around a bit with it never found a alarm system...

Is the battery polarity connected right?

ah i just pulled the battery out of my xf and whenever i even touch terminal that would happen

No problem. It happened to me once and same symptoms
 At least you and myself didn't blow anything up.
