I have a TwEECer R/T on its way from the US, and after I finish a mountain of research and reading, I will be having a go at tuning it myself.
I have a 3DFA EEC, but was wondering if the 2DDA strategy found in CalEdit will work, or do I specifically need the 3DFA file?

The TwEECer website has the program downlads.
They have the 2DDA strategy in CalEdit, but not the 3DFA file.
It may be a little difficult to tune yourself if you dont have TwEECer R/T. And you will need a wide band Air/Fuel Meter too. And probably some time on a dyno anyway.

does it matter what catch code u have written on the ECU...can u reprogram any of the V8 ecus or does tweecer only offer support for specific ecus..

twEEcer only supports eeciv ecus atm and only a hand full of them catch codes work i only know that 3DFA works coz thats what mine is

there is about 10 or so codes that work, post the code up and im sure someone will be able to tell you
