Marmo, was it a full set of injectors or plumbed into the plenum? Were they for fuel or water/methanol injection maybe?

Can be controlled by most aftermarket ECUs... they can run a different fuel map for the second set of injectors.. you could prolly rig it up to have EEC control the standard injectors and a wolf/similar to control the second set... but best to go aftermarket imo.

Dunno if it'd be much cheaper... you need a fuel rail etc and by the sounds of it a fair bit of cutom work... cant escape the need for a good fuel pump either...

Have also seen liquid LPG systems with a second fuel rail/injector set...

Yeah I have seen a few done that way. Generally they run a 2nd fuel only computer to bring in the 2nd set of injectors under boost. IMO its easier and probably around the same cost to run a single set of injectors (36-42lb) rather than going to the hassel of rigging a 2nd rail in.

Stock injectors are really only good for around 175rwkw with stock pressure. Increasing the fuel pressure allows some people to squeeze around 200rwkw out of them. 42lb injectors are fine until well over 300rwkw on a 6cyl. You can get Ford motorsport 42lb injectors from the US for $4-500 landed.

Run a Walbro in-tank 255l/hr pump, plenty of flow for that sort of power. MrLandau has them for $165 (http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3875). For the engine management side of things I would look at the EMS range, the stinger is a decent unit which will probably end up costing around $1600 installed and tuned or you can look at the 8860 with more tuning resolution and features for around $2k
